Any tips for a new graduate nurse (RN) looking for jobs?

I graduate in May 2022 and am terrified of whether or not I will be able to get a job. As an international student, me staying in America is dependent on that

Given the current environment, you could pretty much stroll into any facility with your RN credential and get a job. Florida, in particular, has a significant nursing shortage due to COVID so you shouldn't have any issues. Develop your resume a little bit if you can (I know it's hard when you're in school) with volunteer opportunities, or, if you have the time, as a nursing assistant at a facility you are interested in. That can give you a little edge over other applicants. Good luck!

Another option is to look into nursing placement companies. They exist and they will happily match you with a position. One company I encourage you to look into is Incredible Health. On their website, nurses can create a free profile and hospitals and different healthcare facilities pay to look at these profiles. As stated in a previous comment, we are desperate for nurses so you should have no problem landing a job.

I just Googled "nursing placement agencies" and you'd be surprised by the results. There are a lot of companies that will match you with a career. Give it a try!

Good luck!
