I'm a teacher that just signed up for a webinar to show my students and need to show it at a later time, can I?

I teach at a school for mostly refugees in Utah. 80-90% speak multiple languages and are at the lower end of the socio-economic spectrum. I teach middle school math AND CSP from code.org in an after school environment. I signed up for the webinar on alternatives to 4-year degree, which I think might be valuable for all my students, but it is being shown at 11am and that's when I'm teaching middle school students. I want to be able to reshow the webinar to other classes and especially to my after school class which is mostly 9-12 grades. Can I do this? Will I get the link to watch it later? #teacher #teaching #education #careerknowledge

Hi Tracy,

I believe this is the link to the event recording you are talking about:

Here is a link to other event records hosted by Code.org:

I hope you are able to show it to your students !! Thank you for what you do.

Don’s Answer

Usually they can send you a link to the recording, and then you can download it onto your computer, and have it to show as long as you want. Ask them it there will be a recording and explain your situation. Usually they will be more than happy to work with you, and tell you what is possible.

Betty’s Answer

Hi Tracy,

First off, I want to thank you for the work you do since being a teacher is not an easy job and we need more of them. Teaching has become especially hard during the pandemic with so much remote learning and keeping your students engaged and making the progress you hope they make in a remote setting.

I'm not sure if I understand your question 100%, but I would suggest that ask the coordinator who is displaying the webinar to send you a link to the recording. Once you have access to the link, you can share it with your students and other classes whenever you want as long as the video recording is still available. Hope this helps.
