Dan’s Answer

Hi Anthony

I agree with what Vandana said in her answer, you can go to a college and get a degree in Architecture. The schooling is your best path forward and a great place to start.

Also you can try to find a job as an intern at an existing engineering firm, this will allow you to learn on the job while completing the required schooling. A mix of field and school in my humble opinion is the best way to be well rounded in your field.

Best of Luck.

Dan
Thank you comment icon I agree with Dan. Internship is the most important part of starting a career while you learn. Many architectural firms provide summer internships or part-time year-round if you're skilled at a graphic program or two. Susan Wisa, AIA, RA
