What skills can you apply in your daily life that you learned as an automotive occupation?

It’s all dependent on how much you’d like to apply it to your daily life. I’ve had many situations as a mechanic where my personal or a friend or families car was stuck on the side of the road, using my knowledge and experience, I’ve almost always been able to assist and get them on there way with a quick trip to a parts store and a few hand tools. The beauty about automotive and the different automotive systems is they almost always work the same way as the systems in other fields. Another example is learning the electrical system in a vehicle allowed me to diagnose some electrical issues I was having here inside my
Home. Sure, there were a few different terms and obviously a car uses 12V and a the circuit in my home I was working on used 110V. But I was able to figure it out all because I went back to the knowledge I’ve obtained. Once you figure out how things work, you can fix anything
