DENNIS’s Answer

Rock Hill is about 25 miles south of Charlotte, NC. Aside from the excellent choices already named, there is Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, UNC Law School in Chapel Hill, NC and Elon Law School in Greensborough, N.C. - all great schools. Remember to check the courses before you apply! Good luck.

Mack’s Answer

Liam,

David Kirk makes a good point: look for your undergrad school, first. Many law students major in Political Science for their bachelor's degree, which is offered by Winthrop University here in Rock Hill! The closest law school is probably the University of South Carolina in Columbia. If you want to practice law in South Carolina, that would be a good choice! Other schools have already been mentioned, but I think the Charlotte School of Law closed a few years back.

Other undergraduate degrees can lead to law school including Engineering. And, for example, my daughter has degrees in History of Art and is a practicing attorney in Charlotte. So, you have many choices. . . .
