Derek’s Answer

Hi Addisu - I don't have the experience in this field, but a close friend of mine attended Michigan State University veterinary program for this specialty. It is extremely competitive and difficult to get into but it is ranked as one of the top 8 vet programs in the world. Part of the program has an actual veterinary hospital that will give you real life experience prior to entering the workforce. I can say their top draw is they have some of the best doctors in the world as teachers, some even pioneered new techniques to make the recovery time for pets quicker.

Best of luck in your search!
