Since I work closely with nursing students, they often talk about their struggles. Nursing school is challenging. First, you need good time management skills. Next, get help with nursing content material you don't understand immediately. Make sure you use all the tutoring, mentoring or other assistance provided by your school/university. Test taking can be difficult for nursing students, so use practice questions every day. Nursing exams (tests) are usually NCLEX-style questions meaning they are "application style." This style requires you to not only know the material, but be able to apply it in a clinical situation. Most students are not used to this type of test, so I recommend buying the book "Test Success" by Patricia M. Nugent and Barbara A. Vitale. It is published by F.A. Davis (no, I do not get any commission for this recommendation). This book will help you "analyze" test questions and there are some practice questions included. They also have a section on Time Management and Critical Thinking.
