Hello Fardin,

During the time when you're not in school,
Determine the hours when your mind is most alert.
If you're a night owl, evenings are great, and if you're an early bird, mornings work well.

For challenging subjects, pick your most productive hours, and for everyday tasks, choose your relaxed hours.

Create a routine based on these ideas and observe which time is best for sleeping.

Thank you for your question. Many students may have similar question. This is a question of time management.
Firstly, you may identify a time management tool that suits you, e.g. Phone Calendar, MS Outlook, etc.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Put in the time you need to attend school
2. Assign some time for the assignment, project, etc. and revision
3. Make sure you have fix the time to sleep every day. It is better to sleep at the same time daily and makes it become a habit.
4. You can assign some time for leisure, e.g. doing exercise, etc. and family & friends gathering
5. You do not need to fill up all the time. You can keep some time to relax and 'Me' time for reflection.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Rian’s Answer

Hi Fardin,
Sleep is absolutely critical to your brain development and function. You might find that by sleeeping more, you actually retain information better and learn faster. For a student, ideally sleeping 7+ hours is great. Minimizing caffeine and electronics near bed time might be able to help you sleep better. As for timing, you have to find a schedule that works for you. What works for someone else might not work for you. You should try and figure out a work schedule that allows you to optimize your study time, taking account your extracurriculars (sports, clubs, etc.)

Best,
Rian

Mustafa’s Answer

The ideal time to delve into your studies is during your school hours. It's crucial to eliminate distractions and concentrate on the subject matter being presented and elucidated by your teacher. When the teacher invites queries, seize the opportunity to ask questions. This practice will transform you from a mere information receiver to an active learner, enhancing your understanding of the subject.

When you're not in school, observe how the knowledge you've gained is being utilized by people around you in their daily lives. Then, start applying this knowledge in your own thought processes.

Regarding sleep patterns, it's best to adopt an early-to-bed, early-to-rise routine. There's little benefit in staying up late after dinner. Instead, use dinner time, which should ideally be right after sunset, as the starting point of your sleep routine, preparing to sleep over the next three to four hours. Aim to wake up before sunrise to start your day fresh and energized.
