When evaluating your options, think about the Return on Investment (ROI). Ask yourself if this choice will help you reach your goals and if the expenses (time, money, etc.) justify the results (progress towards goals, salary, opportunities, etc.) compared to the investment you'll make.

Earning an associate's degree is an excellent starting point for any career. This path allows you to become a certified professional quickly, offering benefits that others who don't follow your path might miss. Joining the medical workforce provides field experience, a salary to support further education, insight into your future medical career, and the chance for reimbursement for continued education. Besides qualifying for medical positions, an associate's degree gives you the opportunity to complete required classes at a lower cost than most 4-year institutions. With proper research and planning, some or all completed coursework can be transferred to another degree program, saving you money and time if you decide to pursue further degrees.

Wishing you success in your journey to work in the medical field.

That is an excellent idea. Taking little bites of education will help you decide whether nursing is right for you. Nursing is a great profession with lots of opportunities no matter what level of education you have. Good luck!!

I think this a great idea. An associate's degree will cost you less and a radiology career is in demand and pays well. It also gives you the experience to decide later down the road if you want to become a nurse. Many hospitals and medical careers will also pay for you to continue your education. My friend for her associate degree in nursing and her hospital paid for her to get her bachelor's in nursing and she was able to do it online while still working.
