What classes should I take for a bio major?

I'll be graduating soon and I need to select what courses should I take for the upcoming semester, but I'm not sure what exactly will I need

Thank you comment icon Jennifer, congratulations on picking Biology as a major. Before you select courses, I might think about what you plan on doing with the degree or what your next steps(work, grad school) would be. That would help you select the proper courses for this and the following semesters. Good luck with your choices and your career that follows. Alan Alan Kroll M.S., ATC

Hello Jeniffer, as a student pursuing a biology major, make sure to enroll in these essential courses:

1. General Biology: Learn the basics of biology and its fundamental principles.
2. Chemistry: Attend general chemistry lectures and labs to build a strong foundation.
3. Organic Chemistry: Discover the structure and reactions of various organic compounds.
4. Genetics: Understand inheritance, gene expression, and genetic variation.
5. Cell Biology: Study the structure, function, and processes of cells.
6. Physiology: Learn how organisms function and maintain balance within their systems.
7. Ecology: Investigate the connections between organisms and their surroundings.
8. Evolution: Examine how species change and adapt over time.
9. Biochemistry: Delve into the chemical processes and molecules that make up living organisms.

To ensure you're on the right track, review your program's curriculum and talk to your academic advisor about specific course requirements and any elective or specialized options you may have. Wishing you the best of luck and a great day!
