In addition to what Nickolas says, it's always good to look at the essay questions the college you're applying to is offering, pretty handy for ideas.

You need to dig deep into your experiences and tell a story about how you've been setback but overcome the circumstance. If I were you I'd look through pictures, documents, visas, passports, files, and text messages and pick a scenario. You need to do this and you got this!! Remember your childhood, remember any effort put forth, and remember anything that shows you can persevere. I obtained the Presidential Scholarship my Freshman year by doing this! You got this man and it can be yours with a little reflection.
