The best time to start working is when you're ready. Your state my have laws that prohibit you from getting a job at fast food place or department store until you are 15-16 years old, or they may offer for you to have a job at a younger age with parent permission. I would definitely look into your state laws specifically. However, if you are not old enough to work in your state you could always consider mowing yards or selling your talents. If you are good in a specific area such as math or history, you could tutor. If you are good at playing an instrument or sports you could offer to give lessons. Hope this helps!
