What colleges offer good courses on video production?
I am looking to attend a college after high school which has video production courses. I would like to know which colleges offer courses on video production or something similar to video production

As Sonal pointed out, I'm a proud alumnus of the USC film school, which naturally makes me inclined towards it. However, I understand that it might not be the most economical choice for everyone. Hence, I encourage you to keep exploring the web, finding film schools that match your geographical preferences, and delve deep into their course offerings.
Remember, you don't need to pinpoint your area of interest right away. The film industry is vast and offers a multitude of roles. From producing, writing, directing, to special effects, art direction, costume design, make-up and hair design, lighting, camera and technology, and so much more. The possibilities are truly limitless in today's world.
While you're pursuing your education, why not grab an iPhone and start creating your own short films? It's a great way to gain hands-on experience and start honing your skills. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for reaching out. I am quite a bit biased here, but to me (if you can afford it and/or land a scholarship), there is no place better than the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. We Newhouse alumni really do rule the world. It’s just a matter of time before the rest of you figure that out. 😏
With that said, there are many other very reputable communication schools as well. Ithaca, Boston University, Missouri, USC (Southern California, not South Carolina), Northwestern are all good. Lyndon State (New Hampshire) is underrated as well.

While the schools others have mentioned are indeed top-notch, don't overlook some of the less popular ones. The University of Georgia, The University of South Carolina, and Georgia Southern University are all fantastic institutions with excellent broadcasting majors. Select the school that suits your needs best. As Steve suggested, take advantage of an iPhone and spark your creativity. I occasionally freelance in sports production, and it's astonishing how many TV segments are filmed using iPhones. This was unimaginable a decade ago. Best of luck!
