Hello Katie,
It is quite easy to switch a major just by talking to your advisor, have the prerequisites, and filing the paperwork, but I would consider talking to people who are in the major you want to go in before you consider switching your major. Knowing what you are getting yourself into is important. Also, I'd read up on the potential careers of that particular major as well as it is worth the time to know what your future is like after graduation.

I recommend speaking with your counselor and they will be able to point you right direction. My school counselor was very helpful cause they can tell you what classes you need to take to achieve your goal/major.
