I live in San Francisco but from what my friends told me. Most of the best cosmetology school are usually around California. These are the schools around California: Fullerton College, Pasadena City College, Riverside Community College, Santa Monica College. Fullerton College and Santa Monica College are universities while the rest are community college. The best beauty school in California is Fullerton College.

But one of my friends goes to Academy of Art Institute, highly expensive.

If you are looking for schools that are closer, Vincennes Beauty College in Indiana and Montclair State University in New Jersey (very near New York). The business major can be learned later, I think you should find which of these schools fits to your needs and which area you would like to be.

I believe going to California or New Jersey is your best bet since your interest is around cosmetology, there are a lot of inspirations you could get just living in the area. Of course, these places aren't exactly cheap but there are student loans and scholarships that can help you achieve your dreams.
