Has anyone attended BYU, Utah State, or Hope University?

Because I'd like to transfer to one of these.

Thank you comment icon Hi Melissa! Are you wondering what others did to get into those schools? I recommend editing your question to include a few details so that Professionals on CV know exactly what information you'd like more of to support you in transferring to one of those schools! Michelle’s Answer

Hi Melissa! I am a graduate of Utah State University-- I really enjoyed my four years there. The campus is beautiful and tucked away in beautiful Cache valley, known for it's 'college town' feel. It is a very walkable campus, and off-campus housing was pretty reasonably priced, too. I liked the fact that our class sizes were small, where I felt like I could interact with my professors-- and have meaningful class discussions, especially as an upperclassmen. The extracurricular offerings were also super cool-- anything from rec athletics, to social events, sliding down "Old Main" hill in a giant jello slide, attending sporting events... Overall, I felt it was a really good value for my money.

Michelle recommends the following next steps:

I would encourage you to make a visit to USU to see how you like the campus and its students.

Angie’s Answer

I attended Utah State University and LOVED it! I studied Human Resource Management and it really prepared me for a career in HR. I lived right off campus and walked to class. I also had a part time job on campus working for the Partners In Business and Shingo Prize office. The campus is beautiful and offers many social activities. I played on the paint-ball team, enjoyed ultimate frisbee on the quad and went to the Howl for Halloween every year. You are very close to the canyon where you can hike or hang out at first dam. The community has grown over the years, but it still feels like a college town and the community really supports the college students. I highly recommend USU!
