Generally, the goal of college is to get a degree. Once you have a degree, you generally join the work force. Many companies offer some tuition reimbursement as a benefit to allow you to continue learning, usually with a few caveats. The classes have to be somehow related to your current or future role, there may be a required period of employment after the class ends or you have to reimburse it, etc.

Financial aid is generally offered to help you get your degree. It will again be limited in various ways - anything from what classes, how many classes, what your GPA is...etc. I don't think it would apply after you earned a degree, but it may allow you to take longer than the traditional 4 years.

You may want to talk to your school's advisors. If you are in high school, you should have a college advisor. If you are already in college, I'd speak to the financial aid department and see what they say.

Emma’s Answer

Attending college to earn a degree can pave the way for various career opportunities. College not only sets you up for career advancement, but it also provides a chance to explore other areas of interest. Remember, everyone's journey is unique, so when you contemplate your long-term college goals, take into account what you hope to achieve. Likewise, financial aid options vary from person to person. A good starting point is to complete the FAFSA to determine your financial aid eligibility. The financial aid office of the college you wish to attend can be a great resource. Don't forget, scholarships are another excellent way for financial aid. I hope this is helpful!
