What volunteer/intern STEM opportunities are there for high schoolers??

Hi! I'm a rising junior who's looking into studying a STEM major, most likely biology or biochemistry. Are there any resources to find volunteer or internship opportunities that are local to me? For college, do I need to volunteer in a STEM field, or would a local hospital or library be sufficient? TIA
