Hello! I am a 8th grade student at Crane Middle School. I am interested in this because I enjoy learning about science and I’ve always wanted a job where I can help people through hard times. I think I would like this job because I would like helping parents when they need it and helping the babies get through hard times. I was wondering how many years of school it took you to get your degree? What is the main things you do in this job for example the tasks you need to do most days in this career? Is it hard to take care of the parents and help them with their children at the same time? Is this job good for people even if they get annoyed or overwhelmed easily? How do you stay calm and supportive when you have to give parents difficult news about their baby?
I plan on going to college next year for nursing but I'm not sure what kind of nursing and I'm worried I wont get enough exposure to decide. What tips do you have so I can make an informed decision when I graduate?
