How do cybersecurity graduates find work?
I'm enrolled in the San Jose Job Corp program and have been thinking about going with the cybersecurity trade. I want to know how you move forward once you've completed all of the credentials, degree(s), etc. Was networking a major role in employment? What kind of companies do you work for? Are you employed by these companies for a long time? And what advice would you give to someone like myself, who is just starting? I have yet to start my trade, and I'm in the process of comparing and contrasting all the other trades offered here.

If you are able to secure a degree that is computer science based with a mathematics tie, that should open avenues for cyber either in school or at a new company. Cyber minors maybe available not or key to a computer degree.
Networking will play into it as a side bar - knowledge about it is key.
Ensure to have a well rounded curriculum as well as it will help.
