To get into real estate, you can take online courses from schools like
1, Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) – Offers online programs in business with real estate-focused courses.
2, Hondros College – Specializes in real estate licensing courses and continuing education.
3, Kaplan Real Estate Education – Provides state-specific real estate licensing programs online.
4, Real Estate Express – A flexible, online platform for real estate licensing and exam prep.
Check your state’s licensing requirements, as you don’t always need a traditional college degree just pre licensing courses and a licensing exam

Hey Holly!
It’s great that you’re interested in real estate! You don’t necessarily need to attend a traditional college to get into the field. Many states just require you to complete pre-licensing courses and pass a licensing exam, which you can do through online programs.
Here are some options for online real estate programs:
1. **Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU)** – They offer business programs with real estate-focused courses.
2. **Hondros College** – Specializes in real estate licensing and continuing education.
3. **Kaplan Real Estate Education** – They provide state-specific real estate licensing courses.
4. **Real Estate Express** – Offers a flexible online platform for licensing and exam prep.
Make sure to check your state’s specific licensing requirements, as they vary. Some states might require in-person courses for certain parts of the process, but many offer everything you need online.
Good luck on your journey into real estate! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! 😊

Hello, Holly !
In your State of Georgia, you must be 18 years of age or older to work as a professional in Real Estate. It would be up to you whether or not you want to learn the career online or in person. This is a decision you would need to make after being well informed so it's great that you are asking this question !
Mostly all of the real estate professionals that I know have a Bachelors Degree in an unrelated subject but took the Real Estate program in person on site. You can even opt for an Associates Degree in either Communication Studies or Business. My advice is to not do this online because you'd be missing out on some very needed experience and opportunities, so on site, in person is the best training you'd get.
Real Estate is one of those fields that requires the ability to have very sharp communication skills and is very heavy with people contact. By doing it in person, you would have the opportunity to meet your local colleagues that you will inevitably end up interacting with. It's important for them to know you and for you to know them. Something that cannot be done alone at a computer. You may as well take the plunge for in-person study for this because you'll need the networking opportunity, information about local things in your area that are not online and also learn about opportunities. You actually can get your degree from college while you are studying separately for your Real Estate License. Since this career heavily centers around interacting with people on so many different levels, you'll want to be prepared for your first career job.
Doing it online is solitary, going at your own pace, with no immediate feedback or option to ask questions at the time you need to. You'll have to meet all the other real estate people and offices connected just when you begin your career and that may not put you in the forefront. You should be familiar with the people, City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce and all businesses related to real estate including banks. That means meeting them in person. The test for the License may be given on-line, but I advise to do everything you can in person. Without heavy interacting and networking, it may be difficult to take the first step as a professional, but it's all up to you. You don't want to have to ask questions while you present yourself as a professional. You need to be well informed before deciding about online or on site in person.
I hope this is of help and I wish you all the best !.
