Hi Logan,
One of the most important skills you need to develop to become a great teacher is the ability to engage students in your lecture and motivate them to participate. The best thing you can do starting out is practice; look for tutoring and mentoring opportunities so you can build that muscle. Also, as many of us have experienced, AI is changing the way people learn, and so it is also important that you start becoming familiar with the available tools, their advantages and negative aspects, so you can leverage them and harness their power while not be afraid of students using them to get the most out of the learning experience.
Congrats on starting your journey in such an inspiring and impactful role!
