There are plenty of scholarships and financial aid available just keep doing your best work and research available scholarships and apply for grants and financial aid.
Thank you comment icon Hey Coleen, I think this is good advice! Do you have any suggestions on where to look for financial aid? Gurpreet Lally, Admin

Christine’s Answer

I would complete the FAFSA (which is the form you submit through the fed gov) for student aid, depending on your financial situation you might be eligible for loans, work study while in school, or grants (which you don't have to pay back grants). The FAFSA processing might take longer because all of the lay-offs in the federal work force, also look for local scholarships in the area you live and/or where you might be going to school. Apply to all scholarships no matter how small. The $500 scholarship might cover the cost of your books for classes. Know the process can be slow, but one other recommendation if you decide to look into scholarships if you haven't done so already I would prepare a personal statement to share about who you are and what your goals are through your studies.

All the best as you continue your education!
