How to transfer into the nursing program at Clemson University?
I plan to further my education and go into nursing, but I don't know where to go to college yet. I was accepted at Clemson and USC, but only got into the nursing program at USC. Do you all think it is possible to transfer from Undeclared major into a Nursing major at Clemson?

Not specific answer to Clemson, but just be aware that many universities give priority for slots in programs to traditional, non-transfer students. This can mean that the requirements for getting in as a transfer student are going to be tight (GPA to be competitive might be 4.0 and there might be a limit on number of hours completed). University of Texas and Texas A and M both tell you right in the application that some years they take no transfer students. If you have been accepted to an accredited program, GO TO THAT ONE. Where you did your undergraduate degree will not impact job placement, graduate school applications or anything else going forward. Congratulations on getting accepted, go do great things! Nursing school is hard, being a nurse can be to, but I would change a thing about my choice!

The best way to find out would be to contact the enrollment office or the dean of nursing at the school you're wanting to go to and ask them. They can take a look at the credits that you've accrued so far, let you know what will and will not transfer, and from there tell you if you'd be a good candidate for their nursing program and what classes you'd still need to complete. Don't get disheartened if they do tell you no, there are plenty of great nursing programs all throughout the country and I'm sure any one of them would be lucky to have you! And if they do tell you know at first you can absolutely ask why; maybe they want a higher GPA or more community service hours? Both of which are things you can change and then re-apply.
