Hi I am a sophmore in highschool, highly considering a career in medical technology. Specifically an x-ray tech major. I was wondering what colleges around the Northwest Ohio/Fort Wayne area would be good options? And what CCP classes would you recommend I take?

On the different colleges, I am open to ones that are further away, like Columbus for example.

There are many excellent healthcare-related schools in Ohio and nearby. https://www.radiologyschools411.com/ohio/ will show you some options. I advise all young people to not make career decisions too early. Explore options and try things out to make sure you end up where you will be happy. Radiology technology is an excellent field, and one can specialize in different modalities or be a generalist. If you can take CCP classes, I would aim towards physics, biology, anatomy, or process engineering to best prepare you for radiology technology courses.
