What is a piece of advice you would give your past self before starting an internship in nutrition and dietetics?

I am about to start a supervised learning rotation in different settings (hospitals, clinics, food services) for my graduate program in nutrition and dietetics. My question is tailored towards those already in the field or currently completing internships or clinical hours to complete their degree. I want to know the one piece you wish someone had given you before you started the internship. #Spring 25

Be open to all experiences available to you. Yes, I would like to try that! Do not expect to be able to see every opportunity before trying it yourself, with appropriate guidance. If you have questions do not be afraid to ask. We learn a lot from questions. Be early and prepared for each learning opportunity. Most of all have an open mind and enjoy the learning experience. Thank your preceptors for giving their time to teach.
