How can having a background in psychology give a future lawyer a unique advantage when working with clients or building strong arguments in emotionally difficult cases #Spring25?
I will be an undergraduate senior this fall at Oklahoma State University. I am pursuing a Psychology Pre-Law degree and plan to attend law school.

Hi MacKenzie:
Wow - great combination! Most lawyers I know are nuts! (kidding)
MacKenzie someone with your background will be a benefit to the profession. As I tell always students and young lawyers, people hire a lawyer for their heart as well as their brain. Ofter times lawyers fail to look at the big picture. They forget cases were not started in a vacuum. Facts and feelings start cases. A psychology degree will elp you have insight into peoples feelings and reasons. Plus they will help calm the waters.
Good luck in your senior year. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy law school - it's a great journey!
