Can working an internship in undergrad be the difference between succeeding post-grad in finding a job you are passionate about or not? #Spring25

I'm an upcoming 2nd year in undergrad. I'm planning on majoring in economics and international studies, and I'm interested in working in economic and environmental policy.

Filip’s Answer

Definitely seek out as many internship opportunities as you can. If you're passionate about economic and environmental policy, explore roles with state and local governments, non-profits, and organizations like chambers of commerce and industry associations. Gaining experience in these settings will not only boost your skills but also help you discover what you truly want to pursue after graduation. It will give you a clearer picture of your future career path and personal growth once you leave college.

Mark’s Answer

Definitely! Look for a cause you care about and try to get an internship or, if that's not possible, volunteer. Employers value hands-on work experience more than just having a degree.
