It is good to see that you are interested in Biochemistry, I would suggest to consider on why you would like Biochemistry, rather than considering the market size at the beginning. Many projects are held by government agencies over the world, many universities also carrying out research, they are all not limited within country.

There is a lot of things you can achieve as a biochemist. In academia, you can conduct research projects. In the industry, depending on the type of industry that you are in. A career can be pharma, biologics, cosmetics, and food in research and development, and contract research. Or in sales.
