Hi Aditi. I would like to start by saying this particular point in life is a very challenging one where the conviction of who you want to be and the path that you’re on don’t seem to blend very well. Starting off with you being under confident I would like to address that by telling you, no matter what career path you decide to venture on, believing in yourself is the most important first step. So don’t undermine yourself. The path to being a doctor is sure very demanding but if you really aspire for it, you can make it however the aspiration you have in terms of money don’t really align well at least for doctors here in India. The rewards in the initial years of medicine are very less and doctors in India don’t make a lot of money and only are able to move to such high paying salaries very late in their career. However the growth is exponential if you can wait. Incase you plan on moving out of India then that’s the bare minimum you’d make as a doctor even in the start of their careers so I’d like to tell to that! Besides medicine you can take up any course even from this point onwards it should be totally okay! You can work in tech and be able to make that much if you build a good cv and get into a great company. For that just look up into a pathway of how to become a PM and other roles or jobs in big MNCs that could be equally rewarding. Lastly, no pathway that you decide to take would come easy, remember to work hard and give it your best. Good luck!

Hi Aditi,
Becoming a doctor is very rewarding but requires a lot of effort and sacrifice at first. It's hard to see the end result when you're just starting. Focus on what motivates you—whether it's the joy of helping people, the respect that comes with being a doctor, or the financial stability it offers. Remember, with all the new technology, doctors now have tools that can make their jobs less stressful and time-consuming.
If you don't feel a strong passion for another career, I sugges to become a doctor but chose a different path,st you stick with this path. Think deeply about how it will feel to achieve your goal of becoming a doctor. I faced a similar choice; I had the grade and part of me still wishes I had pursued a medical career.

Hi Aditi
I feel you have already made up your mind that you do not wish to be a Doctor. Please rethink and make a decision. Other than hardwork and perseverance, the will power to follow your decision matters. There are many career paths that can be opted with physics, chemistry and Biology as subjects particularly in the fields of medicine, healthcare, research, and technology. Common choices include becoming a doctor, engineer, biotechnologist, environmental scientist, or forensic scientist. Other options include careers in pharmaceuticals, health sector, food industries, and agricultural sectors.
I suggest please research into every topic above and understand. Talk to known connects who are already working in these sectors. My suggestion is not to focus on earning lots of money. Finances will come in automatically once you are in the right profession.
Best wishes.
