I'm pretty sure American Express offers tech internships in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I interned there 4 years ago as a software engineer and when I got my intern offer, they offered me a choice between New York City, Phoenix, and Fort Lauderdale.

Pick 3-5 industries you're excited about and explore the websites of companies in those fields that are based in Florida. Many companies post internship opportunities right on their sites. Also, talk to your school counselor and check local job listings. You can do this!
