Eknoor, while it would be good to have more information about you personally- your likes, dislikes, skillset, future goals, etc., what I do hear is that you want a job. I am not familiar with the economic situation in India or what immediate opportunities may be available. I imagine the US is very different. However, while sometimes people do find ways to make money quickly or easily- typically these things take time and commitment. You must gain skills and prove your ability. Of course there are always caveats. You have to consider your current environment and what resources are at your disposal. What are you willing to do and what is your timeline? I sense your willingness and motivation; this is great! As a mental health therapist, I am obviously passionate about psychology as well! Without a graduate degree you cannot practice professionally (clinically) but you can begin gaining skills working and helping people. Here are some ideas (though I am not sure how they will translate for your setting and culture)- childcare (in the home, school, community center), elderly care, working with animals at a sanctuary (re: animal behavior), assisting with administrative tasks (at a psychology office, school, or clinic), or doing any type of charity/volunteer work (unpaid or nonprofit support). If you are technically savvy, there may be additional avenues to explore; some may be money makers while others might satisfy your own personal growth. Whatever you end up deciding, I wish you the very best! The more you can continue asking such questions and networking within your community, the better you will set yourself up for continued success in life. You just never know where one conversation or experience will lead; you might gain a new idea or professional contact which could be invaluable!

I believe that thinking this way is not very helpful. Yes, it’s great that you want to earn more money—but first, you should ask yourself: What should I do to earn money?

Start by identifying what you're good at. Look within yourself. Discover your talents and passions—because that’s where your true potential lies. That’s the real starting point on your journey to financial success.

Don’t chase quick money-making schemes. I believe those are risky. You might make some money the wrong way, but soon you could lose everything and be left feeling defeated, lost, and hopeless.

Instead, focus on investing in yourself first. Develop the skills you’re already good at. Discover your strengths, refine them, and make the most of them.

For example, if video editing is one of your hobbies, that’s a great start! It can be a real source of income. Think about how you can use this skill—maybe through a YouTube channel, freelancing, or other opportunities.

My friend, explore your inner potential and you’ll find plenty of ways to earn money. But always remember: it takes time and patience. You will earn money, but first, you need to work hard and be consistent.

Hello, Eknoor !

I hope you don't mind if I am 100% completely honest with you. There are no websites at which you "can rapidly make money". It doesn't work that way. Working online requires being accepted for the employment or spending a great deal of time online for very little money. Surveys do not pay until you've done many and accrue small amounts like a few cents or dollars for each survey. It would be nice if we could all rely on the internet for money to pour in rapidly, but that's not how it works. You'll need to seek employment in your town or do a flea market or garage sales as they do in your country.

Employment is not based on just a want or need either. You didn't mention your skills. You mentioned that you're in college without completing secondary school. Getting work isn't a matter of asking random people about websites or jobs, you have to express your skills and know what type of work you're good at.

My advice, although it may sound disappointing, is do not rely on the internet to get a regular paycheck. You didn't make it clear if you are in college by what you've written. My advice is to get your first job in person at a place or sell things in person at a flea market or garage sales. If you sell in person like that, that will be money in hand that same day. Also keep in mind that you do not go from being a student without a degree straight to making lots of money.

Also, I recommend that you do not attempt to do any work connected with psychology until you are in the end of your second year as a Psychology Major in college. It is serious and important work for which one must have a basic knowledge of human behavior and the techniques to effectively assist people with serious issues. It's also not "rapid" money nor should it be done for the primary purpose of monetary gain.

I hope you do not mind this advice but I have your best interest in mind. It's always effective to be reasonable and rational about things and I wish you all the best and I hope that you find work that you really like doing.

Chinyere’s Answer

Hi Eknoor!

Your desire to make money while pursuing your psychology degree is admirable; persistence and creativity will get you far. There are legitimate platforms where you can start making a respectable income with effort and persistence, even though there isn't a website that guarantees you will make money quickly, especially if you only have a 10th grade education.

If you feel comfortable working online, you can offer writing, coaching, translating, graphic design, and even basic chores like data entry or virtual help on sites like Fiverr and Upwork. Since you're a psychology student, you might also use websites like Chegg Tutors, Preply, or Superprof to tutor younger kids in fundamental courses or assist with homework.

You can accomplish little jobs for money on microworker websites like Clickworker or RapidWorkers if you want something faster, although the income isn't usually high. With a phone and internet, you can also make money on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok if you're creative and build a following over time.

You're already learning psychology, which is a powerful subject, and if you stick with it, that knowledge can lead to good opportunities. Keep going, you're on the right path! Just be mindful of any websites that ask for money up front or promise to make you rich quickly; those are usually scams.

Best wishes!
