Need a personal mentor on my Uwc scholarship essay?

Hi! My name is Kelsang and i am a Tibetan refugee in india. Last year i applied to Uwc and got shortlisted. This year I am reapplying and I need a mentor to give me feedback on my essays. UWC has been my dream since I was in 6th grade, it is a golden opportunity to get a quality education.
I would be so grateful for your help.

Thank you comment icon For the university she refers to, it requires SEVEN essays, not one. Just saying. Also, to accurately help with essays for this college, we'd need the instructions so that we do advise correctly. The essay topics are on the application to be completed ONLINE as they complete the application. Not sure if one can see the essay questions before completing first pages or if it could be saved. Student can explore that. Michelle M.

Like others have mentioned, I don't see any way to look at the essay questions without actually creating an application. It does say that you can save your progress and plan the essays.

"6. Plan Essays
Take a look at the essay questions and plan your responses
You can save your application in progress. Take time to prepare your responses and then resume your application"

Thank you comment icon As a Tibetan our portal is still not open, I got the essay questions from the Uwc prep hub community in discord, where we help each other in application process. They gave the essay topics in advance. I have finished some drafts also. Tenzin

Good Day Tanzin!

I can help you with your essays. Although I am not a PhD, I can communicate well with all and sundry. When you teach dentistry, medicine, and nursing you learn how to get the message across. When you are a therapist 50 years you adapt to saying the words, patients need to attain health.

I personally have helped 50 to 100 people work on their essays as an avid and rather talented writer myself, as writing has always been a great outlet to me even at a very young age. Ive written essays that have won me 5 to 10k scholarships and I would be happy to work with you if youd like! However I will be honest with you. It's not quite clear as to exactly what sort of assistance you need and I have to assume that the university you are referring to is Mahindra United World College India. When reaching out for assistance, the more detail given helps provide you with better information for exactly what you need. This advice and information is for Mahindra United World College in India. Also, you mention "scholarships" and mention that you are reapplying for admissions, so which essays are you referring to - the 7 application essays or ones that are for the scholarships ?

When applying to this university, it requires not ONE essay, rather it requires SEVEN essays for your application package. The committee considers these essays crucial for selection. They look for elements of intellectual curiosity, personal values, social competence, resilience, personal responsibility, and academic robustness. These essays can make or break you being accepted. This is why you need to be detailed about what you need help with. Also, the Essays for applying will need to be written in English. The essay topics are not indicated online but most logically would be on the application.

If it is Mahindra United World College India that you are asking about, this university has the lowest acceptance rate I have even seen. From all the applications they receive they only accept 1.5% of those who apply. It is said to be a very competitive university. The selection process involves nominations through the UWC National Committee of India for Indian students, residents, and Person of Indian Origin and Overseas Citizens of India students.

My advice: return here and indicate the full name of the University that you are speaking of, not the initials. Go to the website of whatever University it is, click on the application and see if you can get to the essay part without first having to fill out initial information which would allow you to proceed to each page. Sorry if you were not referring to Mahindra United World College India. You need to see if you are accepted first and that would be when you apply for Scholarships to be applied to whatever particular University.
