What classes should I start signing up for high school as I am not yet sure of what I want to do in life?

I am an 8th grader in middle school, signing up for high school. I am an athlete in soccer and track, and for a while, I've had aspirations for becoming a professional athlete. I've come to realize that I also need to have a plan for what jobs I can do besides that, or additionally to that. I am not sure of what specific job I want to do, but I am leaning towards the medical or engineering field. Are there specific classes that I can take that will get me ahead of the game? Are there specific classes high school athletes take to be eligible for sports in college? Also, my high school will soon be getting the IB program, and I was thinking of opting out of it, but I have heard many good things about the program. This high school does not have the best reputation for sports. What should I consider? Any help will be received with extreme gratitude. Thanks, Student

What daily routines can help improve my vocal technique and stage presence" "Which competitions or programs are ideal for teen singers?" "How can I start building a presence in the music industry as a young artist?" ?

Hi! I’m Christina, but my stage name is Fancy Fox. I’m 16 years old and I’m dreaming of becoming a professional singer. Music is my passion, and I’m super motivated and ready to put in the work—but I know guidance from people with real experience in the music industry is invaluable. I’ve also started sharing my music on YouTube, where I post original songs and covers, and I’d love advice on how to grow and improve my presence as a young artist. I’m hoping to get guidance on several key areas to help me develop my skills and start building a professional music career: 1. Daily and weekly routines to improve singing, performance, and stage presence: * What exercises or practices should I do consistently to improve my vocal technique, control, range, and emotional delivery? * How can I practice stage presence, confidence, and connecting with an audience, even at home? * Are there ways to structure practice sessions so I see steady progress as a teen artist? 2. Songwriting, collaboration, and music skills: * Should I focus on learning an instrument to support my singing? If so, which ones are most useful? * How do I start writing my own songs and developing my own unique style? * Are there ways to collaborate with other young artists, producers, or mentors safely and effectively? * Should I learn basic sound engineering or recording skills to help with producing music? 3. Competitions, auditions, and programs for teen singers: * Are there specific contests, music programs, or auditions for teens that help with gaining experience and exposure? * How should I prepare for these opportunities to stand out and make the most of them? 4. Building a presence in the music industry as a young artist: * How can I share my music online effectively, including on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram? * What strategies help young artists grow a following, get noticed, and connect with fans professionally? * How do I start networking and learning from other professionals in the industry? 5. Career guidance, mindset, and long-term growth: * How do professional singers balance school, practice, and pursuing music seriously? * How can I handle feedback, criticism, and challenges while staying motivated? * Are there daily habits, routines, or mindsets that helped you succeed in music? Any advice, personal stories, resources, or step-by-step guidance you could share would mean the world to me. I’m ready to take action today, follow a clear plan, and work hard to turn my dream of becoming a professional singer into reality. Thank you so much for your time, guidance, and inspiration! 🎤✨❤️💫 *Admin made minor edit removing contact info
