What are some unique skills a clinical psychologist would have?

I've heard interpersonal skills, patience, and organization, but it would be nice to learn about something that I wouldn't expect but could definetly help me. #psychology #skills

Have you thought about Mindfulness training. I think could be beneficial both personally and with those you work with. Being a clinical psychologist could be stressful and being able to find a personal practice could help in burnout. Also having a toolbox of mindful strategies to offer clients could be a unique perspective! Hope this helps!

Hello Ashley L
Not many people think about it but these professionals should have science skills.
Clinical psychologists use objective research and methods that are scientifically-backed when diagnosing and treating disorders. While they do not need to memorize every theory or study, they need to be knowledgeable about general theories and understand how to interpret research and its findings. To interpret data and evaluate it objectively, clinical psychologists should be adept at using scientific thinking and reasoning when solving problems.
