Hello, Daniel !

(I thought you had one Bachelors Degree already as you said you have your CPA which in my country, would be after a Bachelors Degree. Please ignore the information about a second Bachelors in this and the other post. Thank you. )

There are a lot of steps to attend University in Canada from Uganda and it doesn't entail getting a "sponsor".

First, you would have to meet the qualification to be admitted to a Canadian University. You'll need to know which university you intend to apply to to know the requirements. Applicants from Uganda are generally not required to submit English language proficiency test results. Once you know the exact college you will attend, the university will have to be a Designated Learning Institution, as a study permit application will be refused if the letter of acceptance is from a non-designated school. When you are admitted to the specific university, you must apply for a study permit to legally study in Canada. You may also need to obtain an electronic travel authorization (eTA) or visa, which is issued automatically with the study permit. Keep in mind that the study permit application process can take several weeks. When you get to Canada, you can work part time on or off campus.

This is very generalized information and you should speak about this with the Consulate of Canada in Kampala. They will have very detailed, accurate and up to date information for you that may not be available on the internet and especially for your specific circumstances. The Consulate is located at 5th floor, Room 9, Spear House Ltd, Plot 22 Jinja Road, Kampala, and their mailing address is P. O. Box 37434, Kampala, Uganda.

So, the information for this is intricate, somewhat depends on your specific situation so you should discuss it with the consulate office or an immigration Lawyer before making plans.

Best wishes in all you do !
Thank you comment icon thanks for the advise, well appreciated Daniel

That's a big ask - I don't know of any organization that subsidizes education. You might try crowd sourcing...and ask AI as a source of information as well. I wish I had a more satisfactory answer for you. Good luck!
