What kinds of colleges or programs help students develop both moral and civic leadership?

I’ve seen how strong communities depend on good character and local leadership. As I start looking at colleges, I’m drawn to schools that emphasize both moral and civic formation—not just academics.

Thank you comment icon In my opinion you will have to explain "moral and civic formation" in greater detail as it relates to your own moral and civic standards. Everyone is welcome to their own view of life and thoughts regarding standards to live by. I would take some time and list those which are important to you, and then comes the arduous search for an institution that is prepared to help you develop them. Jerry Tingstad

You'll want to look for an institution with a well regarded Public Administration degree program. There are variations on that name (e.g. Public Policy, Public Affairs, etc.), but a little research and you'll figure it out. Best of luck! We could all use more good people dedicated to community service!
