How difficult is it to do several extracurricular activities while pursuing a major in nursing??

I love being involved in many things but am not sure if that's possible with a major in nursing. How should I balance everything?

Extracurricular activities can be a great addition to your life as a student. Remember, everyone has the same challenges and rewards, whether you're studying nursing or something else. Just be careful with sports teams that need a lot of travel and time away from school. Other than that, have fun and know that, even though it's tough, you can balance both school and activities successfully.

Hello Julianne! The first thing you should do is keep in mind what your is your ultimate goal. If it is majoring in nursing then try to put nursing in everything that you do. Put nursing in all of your extracurricular activities. If there is no relation to nursing in your activities, then create it. Playing tennis in a tennis club can be a opportunity to look at how wrist, ankle, back, muscle, knee injuries occur and how you as a nurse would handle or work to nurse the situation. You are majoring in the subject, so this subject should be in every activity that you do. You will be the number one Major student of nursing. Thank you.
