How do you pay for flight and instructor expenses while in flight school without going into debt?
How do you pay for flight and instructor expenses while in flight school without going into debt? I am a young student pilot looking for some advice! I am currently working on my private pilot's license and don't want to start my career behind. I work full-time, but that isn't enough to help me right now! Let me know if you have any ideas or ways you helped cut costs while in flight school!

Look into aviation scholarships online and apply to any you qualify for. Be sure to come to every flight lesson prepared so you can make the most of the time in the air!

Cadence - there is no "magic" wand you can wave to help pay for your flight training.

A. You can go into the military and after 4 years you have the GI bill which you can use to pay for your licenses - once you have your private pilots license.
B. Get your 4 year degree and enlist as an officer and apply for flight training through the military: Any Airforce Recruiter can give you more information.
C. Finance your own airplane and lease it to the flight school.
D. Many companies have pilot programs, where once you get certain ratings they will pay for some of your additional training:
