Hi Jaylan. Managing a heavy class load can be tough. A good first step is to create a weekly schedule. You can write down all your assignments, tests, readings, and due dates, then set aside specific times to study for each class. This helps prevent last-minute scrambling and ensures that every class receives consistent attention.

Next, you need to prioritize. Some assignments are more important or due sooner than others. So, you should start with the tasks that have the closest deadlines or count the most toward your grade. Still, don't ignore your easier classes. Doing a little bit of review each week stops you from falling behind and keeps the workload balanced.

You can also make use of the help your school provides. Try going to office hours, joining study groups, or visiting tutoring centers when you need support. Asking questions early can save you a lot of stress later, and studying with others can keep you motivated while making tough topics easier to understand.

17 is a heavy load but its manageable. Time management is key: Get a planner calendar or a schedule. Color code your classes and map out your days weeks months so due dates and projects don't sneak up. Be sure to include downtime as well. Account for time to decompress (excersise, sport events, naps, fun). Consistent sleep and eating schedule will help you focus in classes.
Join study groups but come prepared. Study groups are a resource to help reinforce what you know and help clarify other concepts you may be struggling with.
Go to office hours or tutorials. Make diagrams, flashcards, read the assigned material, ask questions in class.
Make good use of your time so you don't fall behind.
All the best!
