"I’m preparing for international scholarship interviews (like the Taiwan scholarship). What are the best techniques to remain calm, confident, and professional when answering academic and personal questions under pressure #Spring26"?

"I am a Computer Science student currently applying for international undergraduate scholarships. I want to make a great impression during my interviews, but I often feel nervous. I’m looking for practical advice on how to communicate my passion for technology and data science clearly, politely, and with confidence. Any tips on handling difficult questions or improving body language would be very helpful. Thank you! #Spring26"

Hi Abdo! Firstly, I would say preparation is key. Going into your scholarship interview I would look up typical questions you could be asked and practice your answers over and over. A few times alone in particular and then in front of people you love and trust to give you honest feedback. In terms of difficult questions, always remember taking a pause is not the end of the world! It's okay to acknowledge the questions good and say, "hmm that's a great question let me take a second to really think about that". Not only does that give you a second to breathe and not feel panicked, but it also helps you to really think about the answer before you speak.
