Will the associates degree I earn in high school actually mean I only have to do two years in college to get my bachelors degree? #Spring26
I will have an associates degree in general studies from CWI when I graduate high school. I am trying to earn a bachelors in electrical engineering.

Hi Jace,
Theoretically, yes. In practice, you'll have to look at the requirements for your electrical engineering degree, i.e. how many credits you need, which courses are core requirements and how many credits you can transfer from your community college.
I hope this helps! All the best to you!

Hi! That's an impressive achievement, completing high school and an associate degree at the same time. Well done! As Karin mentioned, whether your credits and degree transfer depends on the college you choose to attend next.
I would suggest looking at your top three colleges you would like to attend and reach out to them to see what they would consider applying towards you bachelor's degree. Base on that information, that could help you narrow down your next steps. Wishing the best in your continued learning journey!
