What colleges are best for getting into the technology field, especially software development?
I'm currently a 10th grader in a dual enrollment program for computer science looking to get into software development. I have very little experience with programming outside of what was needed for class, like very basic use of the windows command prompt and Ubuntu. I would appreciate it if I'm recommended colleges around Maryland, but if there's something much better that's further away that is also fine.
How can I build a portfolio in high school to get into IT?
I am already in a dual enrollment program taking IT classes, which I am aware is a very big step. However, I would like to know if there's any other things I could be doing to increase my chances of getting an IT position somewhere. I would like to try and be as desirable as possible as an employee, to hopefully get me far in life in the future doing something I enjoy.
How can I build a portfolio in high school to get into Information Technology?
What skills do I need to practice? What platforms are the best to create one? How successful would I become If I master it? Is there any jobs I can get right after high school and if so, which ones? ( I would be graduating with an associate degree because of dual Enrollment.)
What are some study habits that I should learn as a dual enrollment student, but can still be used when im a full-time college student?
I am currently in 12th grade and have a passion for all science classes. I enjoy volunteering at animal shelters and taking care of my cats. My goal is to become a veterinary technician, as I have a deep love for animals and have always wanted to help people with their pets in any way I can.
What are good careers in Education and Phycology to be financially stable ?
I've always worried about making enough in a career as a first generation eldest daughter from a minority family. I am a dual enrollment high school senior, which should graduate with over 60 hours of college. Yet, I still don't know if I should directly go into a education major, as a back up, or if I should start in PYCH first. I have been looking into becoming a ABA therapist, because of the lack of it in my city. Any recommendations or advice?
How do I go about deciding my major?
I'm currently a high school senior who is taking dual enrollment. I have already completed 62 credit hours towards my business management major, but have been considering switching out to nursing/engineering mainly for pay and job security. How should I go about this decision? Is it worth it sticking with business? Is it worth it doing nursing/engineering for the pay and job security? Growing up, I've always had an interest in business and entrepreneurship, but the amount of people I've heard having a hard time finding a job concerns me since the degree is so broad. So I've been considering nursing (because of the fact that I'll get to talk to people and won't be at a desk all day, and i'll be able to help people in some type of way) or engineering (I'm good at math and I've heard that engineering degrees can look appealing and can be a way to let employers know about your technical skills or critical thinking abilities due to what you studied)

What dual enrollment classes should I take if I’m wanting to be a cardiologist?
I am a sophomore and this past summer I took general psychology and rn I’m taking art appreciation. I’m in advanced classes rn but next school year they’ll switch to AP classes. My biggest goal is to graduate with an associates degree before graduating high school. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to but as long as I can get as much as the classes I need in high school, that’ll be great. Thanks!
