Hi Hayden! The great thing about law school is you can major in anything you want in college and still go to law school. Law school does require a commitment and grit to get through. It is smart you are already thinking about planning ahead. If there are law schools near you or if you already have law schools you'd like to go, give them a visit and ask if they hold any community events or clinics serving the public that you can attend and speak with law students and professors. I would also ask your professors, friends, family and classmates if they know lawyers you can speak to about their experience in law school and how they prepared.

Hi Hayden: If you are getting your degree in Psychology you are already ready for law school! (Little joke - because lawyers are nuts!) Frankly, your degree alone is enough. Lawyers come in all shapes and sizes. Their backgrounds are as varried as anything else. If I were you, I'd look into an issue that interests you - find a law firm involved in that issue and volunteer. You will get real life experience. That will prepare you for anything!

Hey there! Getting ready for law school can be tough, but don't worry. The key is to manage your time well and take care of your mental health. I worked full-time and attended law school at night, so I understand how challenging it can be. I didn't realize how much commitment it required at first, but with some discipline and good time management, I was able to keep up with my reading and casework.
