How can I combine my business/corporate communication degree with my passion for animals to create a meaningful career, and what steps should I be taking now—such as internships, networking, or skill-building—to stand out to employers in that space?

I am a senior at Baruch College, I have never had any internships, and I feel quite stuck on what I want to do with my degree/what exact fields interest me. I just know my interest in animals.

Hi Veronica. You could find a shelter or NGO that supports with taking care of animals and volunteer there to see if this is interesting for you. Afterwards, speak with animal owner or people that come to adopt one and see their interest and reasons. This will give you some insights and open your eyes on if this sounds good for your future development.
