What career paths can I pursue with a Business/Corporate Communication major, potentially in marketing or branding?
Hi! I’m currently a Business Communication major at Baruch College with a strong interest in marketing and digital media (as well as other interests in beauty and fashion). I’m trying to better understand which entry-level roles I should target and how to position myself for a career in marketing or corporate communications. How can I combine my business/corporate communication degree with my passion for animals to create a meaningful career, and what steps should I be taking now—such as internships, networking, or skill-building—to stand out to employers in that space?
I am a senior at Baruch College, I have never had any internships, and I feel quite stuck on what I want to do with my degree/what exact fields interest me. I just know my interest in animals.
