GIULIA’s Answer

This is a great question! I truly believe it’s important to always listen to your gut instinct and follow the path that makes you feel fulfilled. Never choose something just to make someone else happy—choose what feels right for you. 😊

Rebecca’s Answer

Thank you for your question. Firstly, you need to find out what careers you have interest.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Think about what you have interest, eg your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc and identify the related careers
Eg if you like music, would you like to be a musician, singer, musical artist, music composer, music producer, etc and identify the related careers
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Find out the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
6. Explore any intern opportunities working in these careers
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Julissa’s Answer

Thanks for your question! For me it was all about what I like and know I'm good for. Since very little, I loved connecting with people, talking, wasn't shy at all, so when I was in high-school it was clear that communications was a solid path. My parents wanted me to be a doctor, but I proof them this was something more aligned to my personality, interests and life goals.

Do what you like, what you have true passion for! That will get you through all challenges and keep up motivation. And it's ok to take turns when the situation and your preferences change. Career isn't a singular line... good luck!

William’s Answer

What led me to pursue the career I wanted was a strong belief that passion should guide my choices. I’ve learned to view failure not as a setback, but as a vital learning and growth opportunity—each experience helped refine what I wanted and what I didn’t. I wasn’t afraid to take risks, and when something didn’t feel like the right fit, I trusted that instinct and moved on rather than forcing it. At the same time, I balanced passion with reality—we all need to be practical and support ourselves—so I made thoughtful decisions that aligned purpose with sustainability. Staying open to travel and new experiences also played a key role, as it broadened my perspective and opened doors I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise.

Zakari’s Answer

Hi Min Li,
I chose a career in healthcare administration and then moved into research because I wanted to balance working with patients and doing lab work. I wanted to be directly involved and understand the causes of illnesses to find the best treatments. I believe it's important to start by discovering what you enjoy and what makes you happy.
