I'm going to summer school and what should I know as basic?
After the 7th grade ends, I'm going to hermitage high school for summer classes, It's about career and my 2nd time there, Last year I went to the course to do basic nursing, (etc. Physical therapy, Parts of the body) and this year I'm doing emergency ER classes, It's part of medical. What are the basic steps I focus on? and will they be easy?
I wanna be smart about it! and if I learn about it at 12 and a half, It will be easier to do so.
Can it be useful in real life situations?

It's awesome that you've already found your interest and are thinking about your future career path. Great job!
As a career coach, I've worked with high school students interested in healthcare. They often join local college summer programs in health science, which help them earn college credits and certificates. It's great that you're planning to take emergency ER classes this year. These classes are very hands-on and focus on skills like CPR, checking vital signs, basic emergency procedures, and patient prioritization. Communication and teamwork are key in these fast-paced environments. It might seem a bit tough at first, but with practice, it gets easier. If you're into healthcare, it's a great way to explore fields like nursing, EMT, or pre-med.
The knowledge you're gaining now will give you a strong foundation if you choose a healthcare career in college. You should also look into summer programs at local community colleges or universities. They often have programs for high school students, and you can apply when you're a junior or senior.

The field of medicine isn't my area of expertise, but as an educator, I predict great success for you right from the start; taking emergency medical classes at age 12 demonstrates a level of maturity, curiosity, and a desire to make a real difference in the world that is truly astonishing. You are already making very smart choices regarding your future.
My advice to you, as an educator, is not to put too much pressure on yourself to know everything right from day one. Emergency training is about precision, not speed; the most valuable skill you can develop right now is learning to stay calm and to listen very attentively to your instructors. Don't be afraid to ask questions if something seems difficult to you; the smartest students aren't the ones who have all the answers, but rather the ones who have the courage to ask.
What you are about to learn isn't just a set of simple school lessons; these are tools that will empower you to help others when no one else knows what to do. Enjoy your summer to the fullest, give yourself credit for your discipline, and always remember that success doesn't happen by chance it comes from taking brave steps, just like the one you are taking today.
I wish you all the very best on this journey!
