If you want to become a farmer, you can start by working with or learning from experienced farmers to gain practical experience. Gradually learn about farming techniques, livestock, soil and water management, and how to manage a farm. Then, you can start with a small plot of land and gradually develop your farming business. It is also important to get proper training, understand the market, and manage your expenses carefully. With experience, patience, and motivation, you can gradually build your own agricultural business.

First of all, it's wonderful that you've chosen to become a farmer while many are pursuing careers in industry and IT. This is truly admirable. Learning from experienced farmers is very important, as their practical knowledge will be invaluable in the field. If you come from a farming family, your parents can offer great advice. If not, you might need to rent land to start. Remember, as a new farmer, it's important to be patient and not expect immediate success or big profits. There might be challenges along the way, but with determination, you will succeed. Wishing you all the best on your journey!

There is a lot of technology involved in farming today. I lived in Indiana for a while, and the farmers had to keep up with technology of the industry, as well as having the knowledge needed to run their own business. Talking with farmers currently in the business would be very helpful. Taking agriculture in high school would be very helpful. There are also degrees in agribusiness.

Successful farmers are lifelong learners. Stay curious, monitor your fields regularly, and be willing to adapt to changing conditions.
As the saying goes: "The best fertilizer is the farmer's shadow." Being present and attentive to your farm often makes the biggest difference.
