I am not sure about stone masonry but I can tell you that trade jobs are very beneficial today. Those jobs are very necessary and more and more are going unfilled because people are going into business jobs. Trade jobs are what keeps our country running. I would recommend a career in carpentry, plumbing or electrician. We will always need this type of work as it can't be conducted by machines or robots. They are very necessary roles.

Masonry was a good career choice for me, I enjoy working outdoors. The work is physically demanding and you have to be good with heights. If you work hard the field treats you well.
